South Africa is the richest country on the African continent. It is also the most violent. Fifty murders are reported every day. The scale of sexual violence – one assault every 26 seconds – garners South Africa the title, “Rape Capital of the World.” South Africa ranks second globally for youth crime. On top of that, twenty-five percent of the population is unemployed and lives on less than $1.25 a day.
Set against this backdrop, No Time For Trouble is the inspiring story of a poor, yet popular marching band and their collective and individual dreams.
